Recently, the inaugural cross-border road transport route (Vietnam-China-Europe) operated by TRU Logistics (Katie Group) successfully completed delivery in Europe. Leveraging the “integrated customs clearance + intra-zone international transshipment” model, the cargo truck departed from Hai Phong on April 23, entered China via the Youyi Pass, by road to the Alashankou Comprehensive Bonded Zone for streamlined transit clearance, and arrived in Germany on May 9, achieving seamless end-to-end delivery in just 16 days. This new route is expected to become a “golden corridor” linking Southeast Asia, China, and Europe, actively boosting regional trade.

By integrating key resources from the China-Vietnam cross-border road transport network and the China-Europe Railway Express, this route not only opens a stable and efficient Eurasian land channel for Southeast Asian cargo but also provides flexible logistics options for domestic exporters. It significantly reduces both costs and transit times for shipments from Southeast Asia to Europe via China, injecting fresh momentum into Belt and Road trade.

The launch of this Southeast Asia ⇆ Europe cross-border logistics corridor reflects the deepening collaboration under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the sustained benefits of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), as highlighted by TRU Logistics.
